How to Submit your Game Idea for Consideration

1. Come up with a game idea

You know what's cool. You know what you want to play. Haven't you been saying for years "I have the COOLEST idea for a game, if I could just get it made..."? If so then you already have a game idea.

2. Submit your game idea

Now you have to find a way to communicate your awesome idea with the masses. Just follow the steps below:

1. Summary: Submitting your game is simple. Here's what you'll need to do: 
   • Invent a game title -- Required
   • Compose a written game summary of 500 characters or less -- Required
   • Create a video that pitches your game to the public that is 2.5 minutes or less -- Required
   • Prepare still images of art, character design, level design or any other appropriate image -- Optional
2. Game title:  Short, exciting, inspiring and evocative. Tip: No profanity or trademarked material please.
3. Compose written summary:  Should be 500 characters or less. No elegant formatting is necessary. Simply copy and paste it into the appropriate box.  Tip: Read it out loud to yourself? Does is sound exciting? Is it as simple as it can be?
4. Create a video.  Prepare a video that pitches your game. This video might be as simple as a person in front of the camera explaining the game or it might feature charts or graphics, reenactments or costumes. The video must be 2.5 minutes long or less and should be as polished and as exciting as possible. Upload your video to YouTube or another video sharing service. Copy the “embed” code from that video sharing service and paste it into the appropriate box.
5. Prepare optional images: If you have interesting photos or artwork that pertain to your pitch, upload them to the site for display. Tip: Appropriate for all ages please.
6. Submit your info: Go to the “Submit” page linked from the menu bar or available below.  Either paste or enter the content you have prepared. Check the box at the bottom to automatically notify your Facebook friends to vote for your submission.

After your design is submitted it will go through our internal review. You will receive a confirmation email once your design has been approved.

Reasons for Rejected Submissions

1. Does not include a valid summary or video
2. No real game idea shown
3. Copyright infringement or duplicate submission
4. Information and supporting materials have offensive or inappropriate content

3. Promote your game idea

Spread the word by letting friends and family know how talented you are! We have built-in tools to notify all your buddies on Facebook. You have built-in tools for talking to them in the real world.

4. How Are Winners Chosen?

Winners are chosen based on the rating earned the number of votes received. For more details on the contest and rules please read the Design Submission Legal Terms & Conditions. Fraudulent voting is tracked and will not be considered in the overall score of a design.
