How do I join the revolution?

Welcome comrade. You start out as a Private in the Revolution, but remember, we are all equal in the struggle, and if faithful you will rise quickly in the ranks. We know how much you bring to the cause. For years you have toiled under the current regime, dealing with the evils of genre-ism and sequel-ism all the while knowing that within you and your comrades lies the true spirit of the revolution. Your ideas, your creation fuel that spirit, and the Republic will reward you for your efforts.

How do I earn points?

Points are earned by doing things like voting on content, commenting, and inviting friends. Top point getters will win prizes and even credits in the games! Points are awarded for the following:

• Voting: 4 points
• Commenting: 7 points
• Inviting: 30 points for each friend who accepts the invitation to join the revolution

Wait, there are prizes? What's to keep me from using spam comments, votes or invites to get points?

You are limited to a certain number of points per day for each activity (voting, commenting, inviting). Plus you can only get points one time for voting for an item, and one time for a successful invite. Comment points have to be approved, so spamming will not be rewarded.

What exactly can I do?

Peruse around the Republic, and you will surely find a game that needs your touch. Comment on the development, vote on the content, see your ideas get made. We all do our part, and the glorious revolution will prevail!

How do I get the word out about the Revolution?

Simple: Invite your Facebook comrades to the Republic of Fun application.

What platforms does the Republic target?

Right now, we are doing iPhone/iPod/iPad games, but soon the revolution will spread to XBOX, PS3, Android, Wii and other platforms.

How are winning ideas for game inclusion chosen?

While the Republic believes all games are equal, some are more equal than others. To find these "more equal" games we rely on the votes of the members of the Revolution. Ideas for the games we are producing that get the most votes are more likely to be included in the game.

How do Ranks and Medals work?

Ranks and Medals are available to all members of the Revolution. You can get points for ranking game content, commenting on game ideas, submitting art/story ideas, voting, inviting friends to the Republic of Fun application, and all other ways you interact with the site. The more points you get, the higher your rank. The ranks are:
