Descend into the world of Slug Wars….literally! Did you ever wonder what happens beneath the canopy of grass in your own back yard? Well, wonder no more. Slug Wars brings to life the epic battles fought by brave slugs in yards across the nation. Sure, slugs may move slowly, but that doesn’t stop them from strapping salt shakers to their backs and running…er…trudging off to battle their evil foes.

Defend your base from the slug onslaught all while trying to capture your enemy's base. Slug Wars is a real time strategy game that is all about managing your queue. Slug units can move down one of three lanes to get to the enemy base and encounter enemies along the way.

Enjoy countless hours of gameplay as you work to unlock all slugs units (more units on the way!). Challenge your friends to a head-to-head battle!

Units

Each unit in Slug Wars has different speed, defense, and attack abilities. They also have differing costs to deploy them. As the player advances through the game additional units are exposed. Below are a few examples of units in the game:

	Soldier Melee unit level 1. This is your basic fighting unit. The Soldier is cheap to deploy but has a pretty wimpy attack and minimal defense. Small size allows this unit to move relatively quickly. However, don’t underestimate a long queue of soldiers in a battle row. Superior numbers will break down any strategy.
	Speed Melee unit level 2. With a weaker defense, the Speed unit is primarily used for one thing: gaining ground. However don’t underestimate his quick fire eye jabs. Not sure how he doesn’t hurt himself more than the enemy with this move but whatever works. He moves faster than any other unit and if used wisely can tip the battle in a given row in your favor by establishing a foothold further down the row than your enemy. Also great for capturing the bases!
	Tank Ranged unit level 1. Great all around unit: strong attack, strong defense, medium range. Only Achilles heel is speed. Deploying a Tank will slow the subsequent deployment of units on that row. Be sure to think about where in the queue you want your Tank.
	Missile Ranged unit level 2. Although expensive, the lumbering Missile launcher has a range that reaches across its entire battle row. Once deployed, his destructive power is felt all the way down the enemy ranks. The Missile is even slower than the Tank, so be sure you have supporting units ahead of the Missile before deploying.
	Kamikaze Blocking unit level 1. AAAAAAA!!!! gasp gasp gasp AAAAAAA!!! All the way across the screen the Kamikaze unit "runs" to his glorious doom. Hilarious to us in how long he takes to reach his target, but serious to the other slugs in his destructive ability. With a full salt shaker strapped to his back, the Kamikaze unit spills out his deadly compound at the first enemy encounter, causing frothing destruction on both sides and temporarily blocking the lane at the point of attack.
	Nuke Are you looking for all-out destruction? Look no further than the Nuke. If he can deploy in time, the Nuke ingests enough salt water to explode over half the screen, clearing up lanes for your victorious come-back. Careful, his destructive power affects enemies AND friendlies...
	Spy Special unit level 1. The Spy is one of the pricier units. He moves stealthily down the lane. The Spy can deploy a devastating and unique strategy; he is the only unit that can attack adjacent lanes as well as his own. His cape whip-crack! attack can defeat most enemies. Deploying a Spy down a relatively open line adjacent to a crowded lane can clear out enemy units and tip the scales in your favor.
	Airborne Special unit level 2. The only unit that can pass over friendly units, the Airborne is indispensable in helping to manage your battle queue. While expensive, the Airborne unit flies over the entire row and drops ordinance on ALL enemy units in that row. Also great for sneaking past enemy units to get that last capture point!
